In 2006 a young Noosa local changed his life forever when he became a world longboard surfing champion.

Josh Constable has surfed the iconic Noosa point breaks most of his life and soon found himself on a pathway that led to him winning a world champion event. Some years on and many more victories under his belt Josh then forged a career extension in the exciting world of Surfboard shaping establishing the Noosa based label "creative army".

We first met Josh well before this while he was working in Noosa Longboards. After a few short chats we moved quickly to work with him on his website essentially promoting and detailing his amazing career. The website was

This website was live for a couple of years but as his brand evolved so did the web design process. Creative Army as a brand was born and a web design was drafted for This website was built with the goal to help users choose the right board for them and to gain some insights into what it will take to surf like a pro. The website incorporates the clever use of videos and informative descriptions to sell the excitement of the models. All boards on the website have prices and details for a user to make an order whether they be a Noosa local or from overseas.

As the brand evolved, so did the website with the inclusion of a huge collaboration with Global Surf Industries ( GSI ). This partnership saw the brand gain global distribution and recognition. The website then moved to an ecommerce level by linking purchases to the GSI website allowing users to either purchase a custom board or order a new board off the GSI website.

The Creative Army website is also well optimised from an SEO view and gains regular traffic from Google as a result.
